Day 1 , 11 Sept 2014
The flight was at 2.45 p.m. in the afternoon, for the first time I took a flight in afternoon. Normally would be midnight, or early in the morning and this kind of timing makes me cant sleep well. So this afternoon flight was damn good cause I woke only at 9 a.m. :b A well slept day is a good day.
Reached KLIA 2 at 12 p.m., and after checking in luggage and stuffs, we went on board on 3p.m., p/s the flight was slightly delayed. Touched down Chiangmai at 5.30 p.m. ( Malaysia time), ya and it's 4.30 p.m. at Thailand. And then... a guy welcomed us haha, his name is Pi Yang, our tourguide. "Pi" in Thailand means Mr. / Mrs. / Ms. hhahha so my dad got a new name called as Pi Lim lol. After that we checked in our first hotel and left our luggage in our room and went for dinner.
This the place we have our first meal in Thailand. It's a traditional Thailand meal actually, only kings will eat it in the past lol, behave like a king or queen while having it hhaha.
The left hand side one is the dish, six dishes in a dish ! The fried chicken was finger lickin' good ahhh, and the right one is fried banana, heavenly tasty !!! Will never forgot the taste :)
After dinner we went back to our hotel, of course not to sleep haha, there is a night market in front of our hotel so its the time for shopping ngek ngek ngek. How can you not behave like a shopaholic when you are in the shopping heaven Thailand ? I think I inherited my mum's talent in shopping cause two of us were totally shopping mode on the whole night. Girls were shopping so what was my dad doing ? No worries, he will always find his own entertainment while he was waiting for Mum and I hehe.
He was so happy with his huge coconut and grab me to help him to take photo lol, dad why you're so cute ! And before that he actually bought the smoothie ( right ) but he only sipped a lil then gave it to me and went to buy the huge coconut hahaha. btw the smoothie on the right, apple mixed with kiwi, thumb up for it. It tasted so good, not too sweet and very smooth, yichiban !
That's all for the first day in Chiangmai, Thailand.
Have a nice day ! |
